We are proud to announce the opening of CCMF’s second housing facility for men and children, operated by the Canadian Centre for Men and Families. This facility provides a safe and spacious temporary living opportunity for single men and fathers with children. It is dedicated to supporting those who have experienced any form of domestic abuse or family crisis.

Our Other Services Include:

    • Emergency Case Management: Our trained staff work closely with each family to assess their individual needs, create personalized action plans, and navigate available resources.
    • Counseling Services: We offer immediate access to trauma-informed counseling services to help families process their experiences and begin the healing journey.
    • Support Groups for Male Survivors of Domestic Abuse: Our peer-led support groups provide a safe space for men to share their experiences, build connections, and support each other.
    • Food, Clothing, and Additional In-House Resources: We provide essential daily necessities, including nutritious meals and clothing, to ensure that all families have their basic needs met during their stay.
    • Legal Seminars: Helping clients through their journeys, guiding them to appropriate resources.
    • Fathering After Separation or Divorce Programs: These workshops focus on helping fathers maintain strong relationships with their children during and after family transitions.
    • Assistance with Housing Applications: Our staff will help families navigate the housing market, providing guidance and support for securing stable, long-term housing.
    • Outreach and Advocacy: We actively advocate for the rights and needs of men and their children, connecting them with additional community resources and services.
    • Referrals to External Services: We maintain strong partnerships with local organizations to offer referrals for specialized services, including mental health support, addiction services, and financial assistance.

Our impressive complex in Calgary consists of 11 well-equipped apartment units, each designed to create a comfortable and welcoming environment for families. The facility includes:

    • Private living spaces with kitchens and bathrooms
    • Shared community areas for family activities and support gatherings
    • Outdoor spaces for children to play and families to relax
    • Security features to ensure a safe environment for all residents
